How to keep track of your beauty treatments
What to record after every appointment, and three ways to keep it all in one place.
What to record after every appointment
- Date and treatment: for example Botox, lip filler, chemical peel, lash lift.
- Product and amount: brand, units per area for injectables, ml for filler, strength for peels.
- Where: clinic or salon and practitioner.
- Cost: so you know what your routine really costs per month and year.
- Reactions and downtime: swelling, bruising, redness, and how many days it lasted.
- Photos: before and after, same light and angle.
- Next due date: when this treatment usually needs repeating.
Three ways to track it
1. Notes app or paper
Easy to start, hard to search, and nothing reminds you when a touch-up is due.
2. Spreadsheet
Good for costs, but photos and per-area units don't fit well, and it is awkward on a phone.
3. A treatment tracker app
Built for exactly this: a face map for units per zone, before and after photos, reminders for each treatment's usual interval, and your spending in one place.
Why it pays off
When you change clinics, your new injector will ask what you had, how much and when. When something lasts unusually short, your notes show what changed. And when a touch-up is due, you know before the results have faded.
